Why did you decide to join ProGuildSocial? NOTE:singles and couples are welcome to join.
I got the ball rolling for relocating to Sacramento (from Fresno). Ill be in Sacramento this week for business and I was looking for a Salsa social dance where I wouldn't be the "creepy old guy". I'm 47 and I was thrilled to see a bunch of 40 somethings into salsa dancing. So...I joined ProGuildSocial.
What are you looking forward to?
That's a pretty open end question, aye? In terms of my life it would be grandchildren, increasing business, cool vacations , stability in the Middle East, restructuring of debts for third world nations by the IMF, and getting a puppy once my two "kids" go to the dog park in the sky. As far as looking forward with ProGuild it would be social dancing. I did it 6 years ago (for about a year) and never had so much fun and in such fine physical form.

Describe an ideal thing to do on a date. (NOTE: if you are married or in a relationship, this question also applies to you! Couples need to date too!)
That REALLY depends on whether it's a first date, the 400th date or something in between. First date could be coffee on a Saturday morning at some Seattle'esque outdoor coffee shop in Midtown. This way I can find out if the woman lives with 12 cats in a one bedroom condo (and that she's not too freaked out about my obsession with Star Trek memorabilia). Subsequent dates ideally would be a mix and match of: getting really dressed up for dinner and dancing, live theater with desert afterward, a picnic in the park, a bike ride along the river, practicing new dance moves at the gym, a tour of a brewery or winery, Going to the dog park with our dogs, shopping for the best ingredients for a dish and going back home to make something incredible for lunch, walking to the top of Coit Tower, taking a day hike, renting a boat and going to the far side of the lake where few humans have been, going to a Hindu temple or a Buddhist temple or a big huge over the top Catholic church or a sikh temple just for the experience, going to farmers market on bicycles, taking our digital cameras with the goal of taking 100 pictures of each of us and see how goofy things get, walk across the Golden Gate Bridge (but only if it's not too cold), fly to Portland to dance and fly back the same day >>
